Special Needs Children
Masterpiece is a ministry of Calvary Bible Church for children with special needs.
Masterpiece is a ministry intended to help children with special needs and their
families experience love and acceptance during worship, instruction and fellowship at
CBC.

Our Goals Are:
- To promote spiritual awareness and growth
- To encourage acceptance by others for the child with special needs
- To provide a safe and secure environment
- To grant support and Christian fellowship for the family
- To develop a Family Care Plan
- To adequately train volunteers to work with children with special needs

Before Attending Class
Parents must have a consultation with the Masterpiece Coordinator before the
student attends class. To arrange a meeting with the Masterpiece Coordinator,
stop by the Kingdom Zone Welcome Center on Sundays or contact the CBC office
during the week.

Placement
The child will be placed in an age-appropriate class whenever possible. An
alternative placement may be necessary if it is in the best interest of the
child, peers and/or staff. The ministry team, in consultation with parents,
will make the placement decision.

Support
If needed, the student will be provided with a volunteer assistant to provide
for a positive and safe experience. In case of medical needs, parents will
assume responsibility for the provision of necessary support.

Brochures are located in the church office and at the welcome centers in the
Campus Center.
