Acts 1:8

my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the
earth."

Consistent with Acts 1:8 and the mission and vision of Calvary Bible Church, and
to effectively reach our world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we have divided the
world into five regions each represented by a team. The Regional Teams are overseen
by the Leadership team consisting of the Associate Pastor of Evangelism and the
Deacon of Global Evangelism. We have also formed specialty teams to support the
overall Global Evangelism Team (GET) in their areas of expertise.

REGIONAL TEAMS: The purpose of the Regional Teams is to oversee and
coordinate the evangelism activities of Calvary Bible Church within their
respective regions and to provide overall care for the Calvary Bible Church
missionaries and other global partners within their regions. Care includes,
but is not limited to, regular prayer support and communication, ongoing and
discretionary financial support recommendations, strategic partnership activities
such as short-term trip opportunities, goals and strategy development, and home
assignment ministry. Each regional team consists of one team leader, one team
co-leader, and at large members as needed.

Jerusalem - Greater Fox Valley Regional Team
The purpose of the Greater Fox Valley Regional Team is to develop and implement strategies for
reaching the lost in the greater Fox Valley and to equip the body of believers at Calvary Bible
Church to be evangelists within their spheres of influence. Ministries this team is currently
involved with are Free Oil Changes for Singles/Seniors and Military Wives; Free Rummage
Give-Away for Singles/Military Families; Free Leaf Raking Ministry; Parade Give-Aways;
and Free Car Washes to the Community.

Ends of the Earth - Asia & Australia Regional
Can you imagine what it would be like if you had never heard of Jesus and never had a Bible to read of His sacrifice on your behalf?
There are still many indigenous people groups in the remote parts of Asia that have never heard of the name of Jesus or the gospel of God’s
grace and most of those groups do not have Gods written word in their own language. Disciples of Jesus in many parts of Asia still suffer
greatly because of their commitment to Christ and their faithfulness to the gospel message. This team of dedicated volunteers provides practical,
emotional, spiritual and prayer support to our missionaries serving in Asia. Perhaps you too could join this caring group of individuals.

SPECIALTY TEAMS: The purpose of the Specialty Teams is to formalize and carry out the
various support roles each team plays in the achievement of the overall purposes and roles of
the Leadership and Regional Teams. The Specialty Teams serve as “experts” in their respective
areas of support. Each Specialty Team consists of one team leader, one team co-leader and
members at large as needed.

Specialty Team Liaison Leader - The purpose of the Specialty Teams Liaison Leader is to
oversee the activities of the Specialty Teams and to serve as a liaison between the
GET Leadership, Regional, and Specialty Teams.

Prayer Specialty Team - The purpose of the Prayer Specialty Team is to provide and
facilitate active prayer support for Global Evangelism in the Calvary Bible Church
community. Team members meet once per month to pray for missions

Short Term Specialty Team - The purpose of the Short Term Specialty Team is to
provide and facilitate advice, consultation, screening and coordination of short-term
mission trips and other global evangelism experiences and opportunities to and within
the Calvary Bible Church community. This position is currently vacant.

Awareness Specialty Team - The purpose of the Awareness Specialty Team is to
facilitate the promotion and awareness of global evangelism to the Calvary Bible
Church community through such activities as the missions website and various
written mediums.

World Christian Week Specialty Team - The purpose of the World Christian
Week Specialty Team is to coordinate and promote one event per year that focuses
on global evangelism and our missionaries. The events are designed to promote
involvement of the Calvary Bible Church community in supporting and honoring the
work that the Lord has done through missionaries and other global evangelism
partners.
